I’m missing the summer international holiday trip I didn’t get to take this summer. Jim and I had planned a 3-week train adventure around Eastern Europe that we cancelled due to COVID-19. So this month I thought it would be fun to highlight some small things enjoyed on our last vacation. We spent a few days with family in Borgofranco d’Ivrea in the Piedmont region of Italy. I remember Jim’s brother Bob serving up a snack tray with the most amazing soft blue cheese. That was definitely a small delight! Unfortunately, the cheese it was not very photogenic so I’m sharing half of a cheese wheel from the local market (along with a bonus shot of the market).
