harvesting

This month I’m sharing small things that brought joy on our summer vacation to Italy (since I’m nostalgic for European holidays, having missed mine this year due to COVID-19). I’m not sure why we enjoyed it so much, but as we walked the mile from the parking lot to Spaggia Marianelli, we passed a field that was being harvested – maybe because it reminded us of the abundant farmland back home in Iowa. I’m including some bonus photos below. And, if you missed earlier posts, you’ll find them here: formaggio, Falmenta Geraniums, and granita.
