This is a photo is of me and my friend Peg. We’ve been friends since we were sophomores in high school, when we ran on the cross country team together. (See the bonus photo below.) She lives in Illinois and I live in Iowa so we’re reasonably close but not next door neighbors. During our busy lives, we’ve managed to make time to be there for each other (see double bonus photos below) and to get together regularly for an annual lunch date (triple bonus photos below!). There is something very, very special about a friend who has known you most of your life and watched you move through so many chapters. Thank you, Peg, for your life-long friendship.
