This ~ 6″ round ceramic plate was a gift from my friend Demet, which she brought back from a cruise she took to Norway. The hand-painted flowers and polka dots make my heart happy. This little treasure hangs in our guest room, which we use as a staging place when packing for our international trips. Its a lovely reminder of the varied ways different cultures have come to express themselves.
