These two metal ‘rocking dogs’ are about 6-8 inches long and have been a part of our family since 1996 when my brother and his wife gave them to us as a Christmas gift. You see, we’re all dog lovers. The amount of joy that dogs have brought and continue to bring into my life is immeasurable. This week’s bonus photo includes 1 other dog-oriented goody from Mike and Lisa that same year. Look at what’s hanging over the fireplace – the 2’X3′ rug of an English Springer Spaniel that looked just like our boy Tucker, which we put into a picture frame, only recently removing it and actually using the rug at our kitchen sink. (The dog ornament on the top of our holiday tree was a gift from my mother-in-law, another dog-loving human being.)
