I love a peaceful garden. This is the backyard of my sister-in-law Nelle and her husband John’s house in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where Jim and I spent a long weekend in August 2019. I really like the variety of plants, the path luring you in, and the sounds of the birds (which I haven’t figured out how to capture with camera!) Oh, yeah, and the 2 fawns that occasionally stroll about on the fringes. I am inspired by all the plants they had growing in the shade of their pine trees.
