I took this photo one morning at the Lake Koronis public beach, where I got lucky enough to catch this blue heron hanging out near a tree just past the beach. I love it’s concentration, how it’s legs show as if its dress is a bit too short, and how its white feathers are almost like a lace cover. Ah, nature and her delectable surprises. Bonus photos include some other birds I saw at the beach.
