This lovely beaded butterfly was a gift from our friend Sean. It hangs on the knob of my office door. I love the way the dangling strands remind me of our special friendship each time they tickle the door as it is opened or closed. We met Sean in Mexico over a dozen years ago during our end of year holiday. At some point we started a tradition of exchanging small gifts – something light that doesn’t take up much room in one’s suitcase. Below is a bonus photo Sean, me and and Jim.
